At PatStop PAT Testing Cambridge, we assist businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to public companies, in adhering to the Health and Safety Act 1974. It’s possible that your insurance company may ask for a certificate, or a venue where you are working may require one before permitting your setup

We offer this service to ensure your safety, and we do not intentionally fail any items. Most items will pass if they are functioning properly and no external damage is visible. Our aim is to pass your items without disrupting your workflow.

- Visual inspection for any damage or wear and tear
- Test to ensure the equipment is earthed properly
- Test to ensure no current leakage or short-circuiting
- Test to check for any current escaping to the ground
- Test to ensure the correct polarity throughout the equipment
- Functional testing of switches, fuses, and other safety features
- Labeling of each item with a PAT test pass or fail label
- Certificate of all test results
- Recommendations for any repairs or replacements
- Plug rewiring and free retest if needed
